We are Journey Christian Church

We are a community of faith committed to following our savior Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus is both God and man, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died, was buried, and on the third day He arose, and sits at the right hand of God, the Father. 

The Power of the Bible

We affirm the divine inspiration, truthfulness and authority of both Old and New Testament Scriptures in their entirety as the only written word of God, without error in all that it affirms, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We also affirm the power of God’s word to accomplish his purpose of salvation. The message of the Bible is addressed to all men and women. For God’s revelation in Christ and in Scripture is unchangeable.

At Journey, we are committed to following the teachings of Jesus Christ. We strive to create a welcoming community that empowers individuals to grow in their faith and serve our community & the world. It’s important to us that we look more like Jesus today than we did yesterday.  Connecting with a group of like minded people is important in the life of our church.

Vision

Our vision is to be a vibrant, dynamic community of faith that engages with the world around us. We create opportunities for people to serve in the church, locally here in Benton County, and all around the world. We support missionaries across the globe, and close to home. We want to find as many ways as possible to take the message of the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many people as we can.

Values

At our church, we are committed to living out our faith relating to God, to one another, and to the world around us. We believe the best way to begin living out our faith is through worship. We believe that worshiping together is an important part of being a Christian. God’s people coming together to worship, hear the Word of God and fellowship together are all outlined as important in the Bible. God wants our worship, and we believe it is one of the most important ways in which we can grow in our relationship to God, and each other.
